2. Nature of the Platform

SplashFinder is a platform that connects users with watersport providers, activity centres, instructors, and related services across Singapore and various countries in Southeast Asia. We are not the operator, owner, or manager of any watersport activity or provider listed on our platform.

3. User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and accept responsibility for activities that occur under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in harmful or abusive behaviour.

4. Listings and Business Content

4.1 User-Submitted Listings

Users may submit listings containing business details, photos, descriptions, and contact information. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to use and publish that content.

You grant SplashFinder a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, modify (for formatting), and promote your listing on the platform.

4.2 Listings Created by SplashFinder

To provide a helpful and complete platform, SplashFinder may create listings using publicly available business information such as addresses, contact numbers, social media links, and service descriptions. These listings are unofficial until claimed by the business owner.

Businesses may request corrections, updates, or removal at any time.

4.3 Provider Responsibility

Providers listed on SplashFinder are solely responsible for the accuracy of their information, service quality, pricing, availability, operating hours, licensing, permits, and compliance with local laws.

SplashFinder does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any listing.

5. Claiming a Listing & Verification

Businesses may claim their listing by contacting us through an email address reasonably associated with the business. Verification confirms only that we were able to contact the business owner or representative.

It does not represent endorsement, approval, or safety validation.

6. Reviews & User-Generated Content

6.1 Auto-Published Reviews

Users may post reviews, ratings, and images. Reviews are auto-published and immediately visible to the public.

6.2 Content Rules

You may not post content that is illegal, misleading, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, explicit, graphic, harmful, promotional spam, irrelevant, infringing on intellectual property rights, or inciting religious or political conflict.

6.3 Rights & Moderation

We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to edit, hide, restrict, or remove any user-generated content that violates our guidelines or affects platform integrity.

Users remain legally responsible for the content they upload.

7. Safety & Activity Disclaimer

Watersports involve inherent risks, including injury, drowning, equipment failure, and environmental hazards.

By using SplashFinder, you acknowledge that we do not supervise, manage, or operate any watersport activities, and we do not guarantee safety, equipment standards, staff qualifications, licensing, or the suitability of any provider.

Participation in any activity is at your own risk.

Providers are fully responsible for their safety practices, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws.

SplashFinder is not liable for injuries, damages, losses, accidents, or disputes arising from any activity listed.

8. Paid Features & Advertising

We may introduce optional paid features in the future, such as premium listings, advertising placements, sponsored content, or subscription plans.

Paid placements will be clearly identified.

Pricing and feature details may change at any time.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to abuse, disrupt, or interfere with platform operations; post harmful, misleading, or offensive content; harass or impersonate others; attempt to hack, scrape, or misuse the platform; or upload images or text that violate legal or ethical standards.

We may suspend accounts that engage in prohibited behaviour.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, text, images, and assets on SplashFinder are owned by their respective owners.

Users may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute content without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SplashFinder is not liable for errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in listings; injuries, losses, or damages arising from activities or providers listed; user-generated content including images and reviews; unauthorized access or alterations to your data; downtime, interruptions, or technical issues; or transactions and interactions conducted outside the platform.

The platform is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

12. Multi-Country Listings

Although SplashFinder displays listings from multiple countries, the platform operates from Singapore. Regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements differ by country.

Users and providers are responsible for understanding relevant local laws.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.

14. Updates to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect once posted on the platform.
